Urban Growth has had a very good experience with BREED in managing work experience for High School construction students. We had students every week through the Bungarribee Hub contract.
It is important for our community that school kids get opportunities for work experience. BREED is funded by the State and Federal Governments to manage this and their arrangements are professional, students are fully insured, trained in WHS and have personal protective equipment, eg fluro-shirts/hard hats, and working with BREED was seamless!
Assa Abloy Entrance Systems Pty Ltd is proud to be associated with the BREED program.
This program is essential for students of the Certificate III Business Studies course to achieve their required component of work place experience as well as providing students with a structured office based learning environment along with options for possible career avenues.
BREED is very accommodating to the scheduling of both work place needs as well as the requirements of the students.
Cumberland Ford has been a host employer to BREED for over eight months now and we have found a wonderful caliber of young people coming through our workshop to experience life as a potential motor mechanic.
BREED are in constant contact with us and together we are ensuring a better community for the future of the city of Blacktown
We enjoy hosting the young students from the local high schools. We are predominately tutoring people in ageing and to have these young people assist us brings everyone together. Not that we don’t teach then a trick or two. Students need more opportunities to be able to get out in the real world of working situations.
